How it works
How clinic days work.
AMEND runs appointment-only clinic days in London rather than an open booking calendar. Here’s what happens from first message to aftercare.
- 01
Request a consultation
Tell us what you’d like to discuss, roughly where you are and when you’re usually free.
- 02
We offer you a date
Sean replies personally, usually within a few hours, with clinic-day dates and the treatment room address.
- 03
Consultation
An unhurried conversation about your goals and medical history. Most consultations are complimentary; lines & wrinkles and excessive sweating consultations are £50, redeemable against treatment.
- 04
Prescriber assessment, if needed
Where a prescription medicine could be suitable, an independent prescriber assesses you face to face before any treatment.
- 05
Treatment
Only if it’s right for you and you’re ready. A deposit secures a treatment appointment and comes off the cost.
- 06
Review and aftercare
Written aftercare, a review where appropriate and a direct number if you have any concerns.
Questions, answered
If your question isn’t here, bring it with you, or call or WhatsApp 07522 633970.
Why clinic days rather than online booking?
AMEND runs set clinic days in London rather than an open booking calendar. It means every appointment gets proper time, and reviews and aftercare can be planned around you. When you request a consultation, we reply with the dates that suit you.
How quickly will I hear back?
Usually within a few hours. If your question is quick, you can also call or WhatsApp 07522 633970.
What happens during a consultation?
We begin by understanding your concerns, your goals and your medical history. We then assess whether treatment is appropriate and talk through suitable options, including choosing not to treat.
What does a consultation cost?
Most consultations are complimentary. Lines & wrinkles and excessive sweating consultations are £50, which is redeemable against treatment booked within 30 days.
How do I know which treatment to book?
You don’t need to. Start with a consultation and tell us what you’d like to change. You do not need to know the answer before you arrive.
Can I change my mind?
Yes. You should feel comfortable taking time to consider your options. Treatment only proceeds with appropriate consent and clinical suitability.
Do I need a prescriber consultation?
Yes, for any treatment that uses a prescription medicine. An independent prescriber will carry out a face-to-face assessment before treatment can go ahead. We arrange this for you as part of your appointment journey.
Who can be treated?
We only treat adults aged 18 and over. We follow a Challenge 25 approach, so you may be asked for photo ID. Some medical conditions, medicines, pregnancy and breastfeeding can mean treatment is not suitable. We will go through this with you at consultation.
Do you take a deposit?
Yes. A deposit is taken to secure a treatment appointment and is deducted from the cost of your treatment. Full deposit, rescheduling and cancellation terms are confirmed in writing when you book.
What should I do after treatment?
You will receive written, treatment-specific aftercare guidance and a review where appropriate. If filler placed at AMEND needs correcting for clinical reasons, there is no charge for that care. Please do not use the website form for post-treatment concerns.
What if I have a concern after treatment?
Contact AMEND directly on 07522 633970 and we will advise you or arrange to see you. In an emergency, for example difficulty breathing, severe swelling, sudden pain or skin colour change at the treatment site, or any change in your vision, call 999 straight away.
