What happens at the consultation

We assess the area, ask about the filler you’ve had and when, and explain whether dissolving is appropriate.

Dissolving filler involves a prescription medicine, so a patch test and a face-to-face prescriber assessment come first.

Filler typically softens within a few days. Any further treatment, including re-treatment with filler, is only planned after a review.

If you have sudden pain, skin colour change or any change in your vision after filler, call 999 straight away. Don’t wait for a consultation.

Treatment is subject to consultation and clinical suitability. Results vary between individuals and no treatment can guarantee a particular result.
