Chin filler

A consultation-led way to explore lower-face proportion and profile balance.

The chin has a large effect on how the whole profile reads, including the apparent size of the nose and the definition of the jaw. Small, well-placed changes here can bring the face into better balance without drawing attention to the chin itself.

We assess you from the front and in profile, and talk through whether chin treatment on its own, or as part of a wider plan, would meet your goals.

Suitability

Suitable for a recessed or under-projected chin that affects overall facial balance.

What to expect

Improved chin projection and profile balance. Results typically last 12–18 months, depending on the product used.

Downtime

Mild swelling or tenderness is possible for a few days.

Aftercare and safety

Every filler appointment includes written aftercare and a direct number to call if you have any concerns. If filler placed at AMEND ever needs correcting for clinical reasons, there is no charge for that care.

Treatment is subject to consultation and clinical suitability. Results vary between individuals and no treatment can guarantee a particular result.

Chin filler: your questions answered

If your question isn’t here, bring it to your consultation, or call or WhatsApp 07522 633970.

What can chin filler change?

Chin filler can add projection to a chin that sits back from the rest of the profile, lengthen a short chin, or improve symmetry. Because the chin affects how the nose and jaw are perceived, a small change here can bring the whole face into better balance.

How many syringes of chin filler will I need?

Many people need 1–2ml, but it depends on your starting point and goals. We agree the amount with you at consultation and often recommend building results over more than one appointment.

How long does chin filler last?

Typically 12–18 months, depending on the product used. The chin moves less than the lips, so filler here tends to last longer.

Is there any downtime after chin filler?

Mild swelling, tenderness or bruising is possible for a few days. Most people return to work and normal activities the same day.

Is chin filler right for me?

Not always. Sometimes the chin is not the source of the imbalance, or a surgical opinion would serve you better. We assess you from the front and in profile and tell you plainly what we think.
