Nasolabial & marionette lines filler

Softening the lines from nose to mouth and from the mouth corners to the chin, restoring gentle support where volume has naturally reduced.

Nasolabial lines run from the side of the nose to the corners of the mouth. Marionette lines run downward from the mouth corners toward the chin and can give a downturned resting expression.

Both are often linked to changes in support elsewhere in the face, so we look at the wider picture before treating the lines directly. Sometimes a small change nearby gives a more natural result than filling the line itself.

Suitability

Suitable for visible nose-to-mouth folds or mouth-corner lines that have deepened with age or volume loss.

What to expect

A softer, less deeply lined appearance and a more neutral resting expression. Results typically last 9–12 months, depending on the product used.

Downtime

Mild swelling or bruising is possible for 24–48 hours. Most people return to normal activities the same day.

Aftercare and safety

Every filler appointment includes written aftercare and a direct number to call if you have any concerns. If filler placed at AMEND ever needs correcting for clinical reasons, there is no charge for that care.

Treatment is subject to consultation and clinical suitability. Results vary between individuals and no treatment can guarantee a particular result.

Nasolabial and marionette lines filler: your questions answered

If your question isn’t here, bring it to your consultation, or call or WhatsApp 07522 633970.

What are nasolabial and marionette lines?

Nasolabial lines run from the side of the nose to the corners of the mouth. Marionette lines run down from the corners of the mouth towards the chin and can make your resting expression look downturned or sad.

Is filling the line itself always the best option?

No. These lines are often caused by changes in support elsewhere in the face, such as the cheeks. A small amount placed nearby can give a more natural result than filling the line directly, and we explain the options at consultation.

How long do results last?

Typically 9–12 months, depending on the product used and how your body breaks it down.

Is there downtime?

Mild swelling or bruising is possible for 24–48 hours. Most people return to normal activities the same day.

Can these lines be removed completely?

Filler softens these lines rather than erasing them. The aim is a fresher, more neutral resting expression that still looks like you.
